Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 tbsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1/2 tbsp. onion powder

1 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 egg

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

Directions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder and black pepper.

In another bowl, beat together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.

Add Cheese, Bacon, and Green Onions: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions into the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
