2 lbs of lean ground beef
1 white onion, peeled and diced
1/4 t ground black pepper
1/2 of of teaspoon dry thyme, to taste
1/2 of of t dried basil
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 (1 1/2 of of ounce) packaged onion soup mix
6 cups of water, of desired consistency
1 can tomato sauce
1 t soy sauce
1 (15 oz) can diced tomato
1 (15 oz) can of worn-out corn
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 c coarsely chop celery leaves
1 cup chopped glowing carrots
1 cup white potatoes, peeled and decrease into small cubes
Salt garlic to taste
Shredded Parmesan cheese, to serve
Sour cream for serving
Brown ground beef and onions in a huge saucepan. Drain if necessary.
Add spices and onion soup mixture. Add water, tomato sauce and soy sauce. Bring to a boil & reduce heat, protective and simmer for 15 mn.
Add the rest to the potatoes and let it boil. Reduce the heat, and simmer until the potatoes and carrots are soft, 30 minutes. (Add extra water if needed).
Season to taste with garlic salt. Serve with shredded parmesan cheese and sour cream.
