Hawaiian Celery Casserole
1 c celery, sliced thin
5-oz. can water chestnuts, sliced
1/4 c pimento, chopped
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/4 c bread crumbs
1/4 c slivered, toasted almonds
1/4 c butter, melted
Steam celery until tender, bit still crisp.
Combine with soup, pimento and water chestnuts.
Put in buttered casserole. Toss crumbs, melted butter, and almonds. Sprinkle over celery mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
