Jambalaya in Ninja Foodi


1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces

1 lb Andouille sausage or smoked beef sausage (I use half of each) sliced

2 - 14 ounce cans diced tomatoes

1 large onion chopped

1 large green bell pepper chopped

1 cup brown rice

1 cup diced celery

1 1/4 cups chicken broth

2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp dried parsley

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

1/2 tsp dried Thyme

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

1 lb frozen cooked shrimp peeled and de-veined


Put all ingredients except shrimp into the pot , stir to mix.

High Pressure for 15 minutes .

NR for 10 minutes then QR.

When it is done add cooked shrimp, stir and let it sit for a few minutes.
