Mexican Bake


1 lb ground beef

1 pkg taco seasoning

15 oz can tomato sauce

1/4 c chopped green pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

8 oz corkscrew noodles, cooked

1 c shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 c sour cream


In a skillet, brown ground beef, drain.

Stir in taco seasoning, tomato sauce, green pepper and spices.

Bring to a boil, remove from heat.

Meanwhile, combine pasta, 1/2 cup cheese and sour cream.

Spoon into the bottom of greased 2-quart baking dish.

Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese.

Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 6 servings.
