New York Chili


2 lbs. ground beef

2 medium onions, chopped

1 can tomato paste, 6 oz

3 cups water

2 tsp. vinegar

2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

2 tbsp. chili powder

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tbsp. black pepper


Brown beef and onions in large heavy pot or skillet.

Place a portion at a time in blender container and blend a few seconds.

Mix meat mixture with tomato paste, water, vinegar, Worcestershire, salt, cinnamon, chili powder, garlic and pepper.

Simmer 1 to 2 hours til thick. Serve over spaghetti or hot dogs.
