Potato & Apple Fry
1 cup boiled potato cubes
1/4 cup apple cubes
1 tbsp chopped dill leaves (suwa)
1 tsp chopped garlic
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp masala
1/2 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
10 curry leaves
Boil two medium sized potatoes and peel off the skin. Cut into cubes and keep aside. Similarly, peel off the skin of a apple and cut into cubes.
Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and tamper mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Saute a while.
Add potato and apple cubes. Add garlic flakes, turmeric powder, red chili powder.
Saute a while. Add masala, pepper powder and salt to taste. Cook for 5 mins. Add dill leaves and cook for another 5 mins.
Remove from the heat and serve hot as snack or as an accomplishment to rice.
