Praline Pecan Sauce


1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup half-and-half

1/2 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Preheat oven to 350 F.

Spread pecans on a baking sheet and bake for about 8-10 minutes or until toasted and fragrant, stirring halfway through.

Combine sugar, half-and half, and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.

Remove from heat; stir in pecans and vanilla.

Cool, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes. Serve warm.
