Pumpkin Bread


5 cups flour

4 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. cloves ground

1 tsp. nutmeg

4 cups sugar

4 cups pumpkin filling

1 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup raisins (optional)


Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg together in large bowl. Set aside. Blend sugar, pumpkin, and oil together in a bowl. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Fold in nuts and raisins. Grease 2 pans and fill 1/2 full. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
