Cheesy Beef Biscuit Bake

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 - 16.3 oz. can refrigerated biscuit dough
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or a similar casserole pan.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 7–10 minutes.
While the beef is cooking, open the can of biscuits. Using kitchen scissors or a knife, cut each biscuit into 4 small pieces. Set the pieces aside.
Spread the cooked, drained ground beef evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish, patting it out into a fairly even layer.
Scatter the biscuit pieces evenly over the top of the beef, tucking some down between the crumbles of meat so they bake up in little pockets throughout the casserole.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top, making sure most of the biscuit pieces are covered. A little peeking through is fine.
the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 18–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let the bake rest for about 5 minutes to settle before cutting into squares. Serve warm, straight from the pan.
