Chicken & Oatmeal Stew for Pets

Ingredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth or water
1 medium carrot, diced
1 small apple, peeled and diced, seeds removed
1 tsp. dried parsley (optional)
Instructions:
In a pot, bring the chicken broth or water to a boil.
Add the chicken breast and reduce to a simmer, cooking for about 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove the chicken from the pot, shred it with a fork, and set aside.
Add the rolled oats, diced carrot, and apple to the pot and cook for an additional 10 minutes until softened.
Stir the shredded chicken back into the pot and mix well.
Let the mixture cool before serving.
Notes:

Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- Freeze for up to one month and thaw before serving.
