
Ingredients:
16 oz. cremini mushrooms
3 tbsp. butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. dried thyme or oregano
1⁄4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1⁄4 cup water or broth
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Clean the mushrooms using a damp paper towel or brush. Trim stems as needed and leave whole.
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp. of butter and let it brown slightly.
Add the mushrooms and sear undisturbed for 3–4 minutes until golden. Stir occasionally.
Add garlic and stir until fragrant about 30 seconds
Add worcestershire sauce, paprika, dried herbs, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir to coat.
Lower the heat to medium, add remaining 1 tbsp. butter and water or broth. Deglaze and scrape up browned bits.
Simmer for 5–7 minutes until tender and sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
