Crockpot Steak Bites

Ingredients:
2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup beef broth
2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil or butter
1 tsp. black pepper
½ tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. cornstarch + 1 tbsp. water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions:
**Optional sear for extra flavor
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over high heat.
Quickly sear steak cubes 1–2 minutes per side. Transfer to crockpot.
In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, black pepper, and paprika.
Pour sauce over steak in the crockpot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3 hours, until steak is tender.
Stir in cornstarch slurry during the last 20–30 minutes if you want a thicker sauce.
Spoon steak bites and sauce over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
