Sticky Chili Roasted Tofu Slices

Ingredients:
2 cups firm tofu
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. chili sauce
1 tsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1 chopped spring onion
Instructions:
Heat the oven to 350 F.
Press tofu first so that the excess liquid comes out. Cutting in 1 cm thick slices.
In a bowl. add sesame oil, garlic powder, rice vinegar, chili sauce, maple syrup, & soy sauce. Toss tofu in seasonings.
Spread some cornstarch on the tofu slices and then assemble them on the tray. After doing this, add the rest of the seasoning mixture over the slices and roast.
Add spring onions and sesame seeds.when cooked.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
These tofu slices will go perfectly with your rice. You can either fry your rice or steam it to your liking.
When you are making any vegan noodle stir-fry, including these tofu slices, it will be a perfect option.
