Salmon Loaf


1 cup salmon

1 cup bread crumbs

1 cup scalded milk

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tbsp. butter

1 tsp. grated onion

2 eggs separated (use yolks, leave whites till the end)

1 tsp. lemon juice


Combine first 8 ingredients. Mix well. Beat egg whites till stiff. Blend into the other ingredients. Pour into a well greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 in a pan of water.
