Sultana & Coconut Slice
Ingredients
125g butter
1 tsp golden syrup (Add butter in a small pot with syrup and melt DO NOT BOIL) set aside.
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 cup castor sugar
1 cup sultanas
1 cup coconut
1 egg (whisked slightly)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
Grease or spray a swiss roll pan or rectangle tin.
In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add coconut & sultana’s.
Pour over butter mixture & lastly egg mix together until well combined.
Bake for 30 minutes or until nice in brown.
Take out and cool for 30 to 45 mins or longer then cut into squares.
