Wild Rice with Almonds

Wild Rice with Almonds


1 c wild rice, washed

1/4 lb butter

1/2 c slivered almonds

1/2 lb fresh sliced mushrooms

3 c chicken broth

2 Tbsp chopped chives


Saute wild rice in butter until golden. Add almonds, mushrooms and chives.

Saute 5 minutes more. Add chicken broth.

Place in buttered casserole dish

Bake, covered at 325 degrees for 1 hour or more.
