Beer Battered Mushrooms

Ingredients:
6 cups canola oil for frying
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 cup cold light beer
16 oz. button cremini mushrooms cleaned
minced parsley for garnish
Instructions:
In a large, heavy bottom pot, preheat the frying oil to 350 F.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and seasoned salt. Add the beer and whisk again until the batter is smooth.
Dip the mushrooms one at a time into the batter and use a fork to drain the excess. Drop into the hot oil in batches, don't over crowd, and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
Serve immediately with a sprinkle of parsley.
