Ingredients:
1 medium head of cabbage
1 lb. ground beef (or beef/pork mix)
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1 egg
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dried dill (or fresh)
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Carefully remove cabbage leaves and blanch until pliable.
Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Place a spoonful of filling in each cabbage leaf, fold sides, and roll tightly.
Mix tomato sauce, paste, olive oil, dill, salt, and pepper. Pour over rolls. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 1 hour until tender.
