Baked Ziti (Ninja Foodi)

Ingredients:
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 c diced onion
1.5-2 lb ground beef
1 (8 oz) fresh spinach, washed & dried
2 (24 oz) jars marinara
1 c water
1 c dry red wine or (substitute for broth or apple juice cranberry juice), if no wine on hand
1 box (16 oz) ziti
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c ricotta cheese
1 c shredded mozzarella
Instructions:
Preheat 5 mins on Saute, High.
Saute onion in olice oil for 4 min, add ground beef and saute until browned. Add spinach and stir until wilted.
Add marinara, water, wine, salt & garilc, & ziti, mix well.
Pressure cook on low for 2 mins, then do a 10 min natural release.
Stir in ricotta, top with mozzarella, and broil on low until browned (3-4 mins).

  1. Every thing was good, but it needed more seasoning Next time I will add more flavor. I will definitely make this recipe again.

  2. So I kinda followed this recipe eyeballing
    everything and adding ingredients.. I used chicken, added chopped asparagus and mushrooms.. I found this recipe to be a great base for formulating my own to meet our personal taste..

  3. I’ve been subbing turkey for ground beef for a slightly healthier choice. Also, I like to add 3 teaspoons of crushed red pepper and 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning. For a slightly different taste, you can substitute half of the spinach with fresh basil.
